What is IP Geolocation?

IP geolocation is the process of mapping an IP address to a physical location — including country, city, region, ISP (Internet Service Provider), and timezone. It works by cross-referencing IP ranges with geographic databases maintained by regional internet registries.

Accuracy varies: country-level data is typically 95%+ accurate, while city-level data is roughly 80% accurate. ISP and ASN data is usually precise.

How to Use

  1. Enter any IPv4 or IPv6 address in the input field.
  2. Click My IP to auto-fill your own public IP.
  3. Click Run Intelligence Scan to fetch location data.
  4. Results show country, city, ISP, timezone, coordinates, and postal code.
